    Method CNC offers a comprehensive design service from concept to finished product. We specialise in the design of the materials we manufacture — from the freeform shapes of fibreglass and composites, to the precision of interlocking ply and sheet parts.

    Our work reaches across a wide range of industries — marine, aerospace, RV, automotive and more.

    Some jobs are a sketch and a few plywood cuts. Others take months of detailed design work from scan data. We don't mind — whatever keeps the CNC machines running and the fabricators busy.

    15 years of Computer Aided Design experience

    Hi I'm Tyler, I'm a composites (Fibreglass /Carbon Fibre) and plywood design specialist with over 15 years of CAD experience in R&D teams, working on freeform composites and sheet materials across the arts, aerospace, marine, sporting and automotive industries. That's a lot of drawings — and I've seen most of them through to fabrication. Every one has been a lesson I've learned from.

    That expertise runs deepest in fibreglass and composite product development. We take your initial concept through to a complete tooling set — plugs, moulds, jigs and fixtures — backed by full manufacturing drawings and machine-ready files.

    We bring the same end-to-end approach to plywood and sheet materials. From interlocking jigs and fixtures to formers, joinery and furniture, every design is optimised for CNC cutting with digital joint detailing built in.

    3D Scan Data and Reverse Engineering

    We're equally at home starting from 3D scan data. With our in-house scanning service, we can capture existing parts and geometry ourselves, then integrate that data seamlessly into our design workflow — cleaning, surfacing and developing it into production-ready files.
